Treasurer Report
FoFGS raises several thousand pounds each year. The money is all used for the benefit of the children.
Currently the majority of the money raised subsidises the swimming pool. We are actively looking to establishing whether there are other methods of securing funding for this in the future.
Regarding any remaining money - we approached each class teacher and After School Club requesting details of items which would add value to their class / club for the following year – we have arranged for all requested items to be purchased.
Individual events are also sponsored by FoFGS – e.g. the Year 6 Leavers Disco / refreshments for Sports Day.
It should be noted that money raised by FoFGS is not currently used to fund school trips.
