Starting in Reception

Is your child starting in Reception class soon? Reception is the final year of the Early Years and the first year at Primary School and we work hard to ensure that the children settle into school quickly and have a strong start to their school journey. We involve families in their child’s learning and like to quickly get to know you too! Take a look at the information below about this important year.

Starting in any other year group

Whatever year group your child might be starting at in our school, we try to make the transition as smooth as possible. Why not give us a ring to talk through starting at our school? We can answer your questions, let you know if we have any spaces, organise a tour and give you information about Admissions. Children are admitted to our school via the Essex County Council website.
